Asus has this week officially launched its new Radeon RX 460 STRIX graphics card, that takes the form of an all-new gaming card with awesome performance, advanced cooling and reliability as well as customisable styling options.
The Radeon RX 460 STRIX graphics card is powered by a processor clocked at 1256MHz in OC mode, delivering up to 8.2 percent-faster performance than reference cards in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme and 38.6%-faster gaming performance in Hitman for example.
Asus explains more about the new graphics card.
ROG Strix RX 460 enables complete gaming system personalization with the Aura RGB lighting system and customizable color decals. It also includes GPU Tweak II with XSplit Gamecaster for intuitive performance tweaking and instant gameplay streaming.
Also available in the Radeon RX 460 lineup is the ASUS Dual RX 460, a gaming graphics card that delivers ‘sweet-spot’ graphics performance and gives gamers more choices when building the perfect system. ROG Strix RX 460 is equipped with ASUS DirectCU II cooling technology, which features direct-GPU-contact heatpipes that transport more heat away from the GPU, outperforming reference designs and achieving up to 30% cooler gaming performance. DirectCU II technology includes dual 0dB fans, engineered with a patented wing-blade design that delivers maximum airflow and improves static pressure over the heatsink by 105%, while operating at three-times (3X) quieter volume than reference cards.
