After making its debut way back in May, Xiaomi’s Android TV-powered Mi Box is finally launching in the US.

Xiaomi says that the Mi Box will be available today, October 3, from the company’s online store, and orders will begin going out on October 6. It’ll hit Walmart stores and Walmart’s website in “early October.” Pricing for the Mi Box is set at $69.

The Xiaomi Mi Box is a 101 x 101 x 19.5mm set-top box that can output at up to 4K 60fps and offers one HDMI 2.0a port, one USB 2.0 port, and SPDIF out/3.5mm out. It’s also got DTS 2.0+ digital out, Dolby Digital Plus, up to 7.1 passthrough, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth. The Mi Box’s raw specs include a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of flash storage.

Each Mi Box includes a Bluetooth remote control that supports voice search. A Mi Game Controller will be sold separately.

While we still aren’t getting any Xiaomi phones in the US, it’s good to see that Xiaomi’s Mi Box is available to US consumers. Not only does it mean that we’re getting another Xiaomi product in the US, the Mi Box’s launch gives us another Android TV option in a market where there aren’t a ton of choices, and it’s a fairly affordable option, too.

Now that the Mi Box is officially launching in the US, will you be buying one?
